How will my car be insured by your driver?
In general, standard auto insurance policy benefits are limited to the vehicles listed in the policy rather than the person. However, since we do not actually drive your vehicle to the service center, it’s our business insurance policy that covers your vehicle, our tow bed truck, and the driver of the tow bed truck moving your vehicle.
How do you screen your drivers?
All CarWaiter drivers have passed criminal background checks, drug screening, and have clean driving records. To keep them on their toes, we randomly schedule driving test exercises and drug screening to ensure that we ALWAYS have the best driver for every vehicle.
Do I get to choose my car pickup and delivery?
Yes! Our mission objective is to help you get your vehicle safely to where it can be serviced and return it when the service is complete, freeing you to focus on other activities. You decide when we pick up your vehicle, the auto shop we take it, and where we’ll drop your vehicle off then hand over your keys to you.
What if I do not have full coverage on my car?
No problem! We do not actually drive your vehicle to the auto shop so it’s our business insurance policy that covers your vehicle, our tow bed truck, and the driver of the tow bed moving your vehicle.
How far can the radius of the pickup and delivery be?
Our plans include any pickup and delivery location within a 10-mile radius. This can be a quick gas fill-up run within the local area or an engine tuning job on the other side of the city. We charge an additional $1 for every mile over a 10-mile radius.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, mobile payments, and electronic bank transfers. Our agent is always available to discuss other means of payment with you.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Our vehicles always seem to have a mind of their own, breaking down at the most inconvenient moments. We can make our services available to you immediately after you call us or at a time that’s super convenient for you.
Will my car be safe with your drivers?
Yes! All our drivers go through a vetting process that has so far proven to be 100% effective.
Can I book from my house pickup and my office for delivery?
Yes. We can pick up your vehicle from anywhere and return it wherever you desire after the service is completed.
What happens if my car has to stay more than a day?
The CarWaiters agent waiting for your car will reach out and pass the new information to you. When the vehicle is finally fixed and ready, we’ll also inform you then bring the vehicle back to you!
What if I decide not to get work done?
CarWaiters will return your vehicle when repair/service is complete. However, if you decide not to get work done because the cost to repair is more than anticipated, we will promptly return the vehicle to your desired return location.
